It was the ship of dreams to everyone else. To me, it was a slave ship, taking me back to America in chains. Outwardly, I was everything a well brought up girl should be. Inside, I was screaming.
1.) Titanic drops anchor in Queenstown at 11:30, 2 miles from land (because of her size), to pick up its final 120 passengers (third and second class) and over 1300 bags of mail.
2.) At 13:30 Titanic raised her anchor for the final time and left for open sea, never to make her final New York destination. She carried 2200 people on board.
